Our Mission

Tecklenburg Farms LLC was established on September 1, 2016 by Chris and Shawna Tecklenburg. The mission at Teck Farms is to make nutrituous food more affordable and available to all, serve the community, promote stewardship, and educate on health and wellness.

Why we do it

Small farms have been critical to the fabric of American society through the Nation’s history. Today, as historically, the vast majority of farms in the United States are small. The viability and sustainability of these farms are important to our Nation’s economy, to the wise stewardship of natural resources, and to the leadership and social fabric of rural communities. Their economic contribution is important to the Nation and is especially critical to the economic and social vitality of thousands of rural communities Department Regulation (DR) 9700-1, USDA policy.

NON-PROFIT

In March, 2018 Glenwood Gardens Health and Wellness Foundation (GGHWF) was established to assist in the vision at Tecklenburg Farms LLC. The Foundation will focus on promoting a health way of life through the education of growing and consuming nutritious food.
